Refuse any extra packaging and think of wher it might end up such as rivers, lakes, oceans, trees, mountains, valleys and other places.
Rethink
Rethink the things you bring with you and how you plan. Think before you buy and where was this grown/made/manufactured; How far did it travel to get to the store; Under what conditions did the laborers work; Will its disposal be environmentally friendly; Is it sustainably created; Do you really need it;. Read the labels, know what you’re really buying. Look for similar items that are locally produced and that use minimal packaging.
Reduce
Reduce the amount of junk you send to the landfill. Do you really need all the stuff you think you need. Combine trips to reduce driving emissions and save money.
Re-use
Before you throw anything away or into a recycle bin you should think Can If you use this again.
Recycle
Recycle everything possible at recycle.
Repare
Volunteer for restoration projects and in your own home Community.

Sega was founded in 1940 as Standard Games in Honolulu , Hawaii , United States , by Marty Bromley, Irving Bromberg, and James Humpert to provide coin-operated amusements for American servicemen on military bases. Bromley suggested that the company move to Tokyo , Japan in 1951 and in May 1952 "Service Games of Japan" was registered.
In 1969, Gulf Western purchased Sega. Sega continued to grow and prosper. Sega's current logo dates back to the mid 1970s. In 1976, they released a large screen TV, Sega-Vision (not to be confused with their portable media player, Sega Vision).
In the video game arcades, Sega was known for games such as Zaxxon, the first game to employ axonometric projection, and Hang-On, the world's first full-body-experience video game.
SG-1000 Sega's profits would hit $214 million by 1982 and in 1983, Sega would release its first video game console, the SG-1000, the first 3-D arcade video game, SubRoc-3D, which used a special periscope viewer to deliver individual images to each eye, and the first laserdisc arcade game, Astron Belt.
In 1984, the multibillion dollar Japanese conglomerate CSK bought Sega, renamed it to Sega Enterprises Ltd., headquartered it in Japan, and two years later, shares of its stock were being traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. David Rosen's friend, Isao Okawa, the chairman of CSK, became chairman of Sega.
Sega Master System Sega would also release the Sega Master System and the first Alex Kidd game, who would be Sega's unofficial mascot until 1991 when Sonic the Hedgehog took over. While the Master System was technically superior to the NES, it failed to capture market share in North America and Japan due to highly aggressive strategies by Nintendo and ineffective marketing by Tonka in the United States . However, it was a huge hit in the UK , most of Europe , Australia and New Zealand , trouncing Nintendo's console. It also dominated the Brazilian markets until Sega discontinued the system in Brazil in 2000 citation.
I have chosen Sega to change the logo of because it is old and I think I could edit it a-bit.
•Design Situation
•Advertising is a multimillion pound industry. Advertising includes logos, packaging, point of sale displays, websites and television campaigns. International companies from B to McDonalds spend millions of pounds each year on advertising. Even smaller companies spend large amounts of their budget on good advertising campaigns.
•Design Brief
•I am going to redesign the logo for Sega. I will also design and make a piece of packaging for one of their products (sonic game box) and design and make a point of sale display for that product.
